Bee-eater (Merops apiaster)
On the 10th September 2015 I came across a huge flock of Bee-eaters numbering more than 200 birds, this is a group of just 4 of them. This was surprising, as 2015 had been a poor year for them in the area, so perhaps these birds were just migrating through?

on October 19, 2015On the 10th September 2015 I came across a huge flock of Bee-eaters on a farm track south of El Hondo which numbered in excess of 200 birds, which was surprising because 2015 was a very poor year for them in the area. This is a nice group of 4 of them, perhaps they were birds migrating through?
